Daniel De Vita is a 28 year old guitar player and singer born in Buenos Aires who has been playing in the argentinian Blues scene for the last 10 years. He has been a part of major latin Blues festivals such as the ¨Festival de Invierno de Buenos Aires¨ and the ¨Buenos Aires Blues Festival¨ as well as the ¨Mississippi Delta Blues Festival¨, this last one being the most important Blues Festival in South America. The album is called ¨Southside Blues¨and it´s a tribute to great masters such as Muddy Waters, Little Walter, Memphis Slim, John Brim and many other Bluesmen.The CD consists of 11 electric Blues songs and 4 acoustic Downhome tunes.Some of the tracks are classic songs from the Chicago of the 40s and 50s like ¨You got me where you want me¨ by John Brim, ¨Be mine alone¨ written by Sunnyland Slim, ¨I´m getting tired¨ by Snooky Pryor and ¨Red headed woman¨ written by Baby Face Leroy.IMG_0308Daniel is a Blues fanatic and recording engineer who used the same methods as the Chess Record Company did during the 50s to recreate a truthful sound.The band consists of some of the more experienced Blues musicians in Argentina and Latin America.
